How it all started
Our Story of Beginnings
The Williams Lifted Light Ongoing LLC
We have enjoyed candles made by major brands and have always wondered how to make our own candles. After a lot of trial, error, and research we have come up with our own products. Then while making our first set of candles, we discovered that mixture rates and correct heating and choosing the correct wax was key. I hand pour all my candles at the right temperature. My first set was on thin containers and glass jars, now we are creating our own style cement containers with a nice rustic finish. This is something we enjoy doing and we strive to make the best products that we can. We really want to give you the best candle! That is why I work with the best fragrances selection in the market and with my soy blended wax formula you will enjoy the best long lasting scent.

Be Strong and don't give up..
My name is Patricia Williams. I am 42 years old. I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I grew up around famous artists in my family; starting with my parents who worked hard to earn money so we could have bread on the table every day. My Mother is a hancrafter. She made the Typical "Caretas de Vejigantes" in PR. She sells them to a commercial guy in San Juan, PR, who takes his time to drive back home (Ponce) and pick up her crafts. My Mom is a inspirational woman that works hard from home and helps Dad to bring extra income. My Dad, a retired electrician, has incredible drawing skills which I inherited from him. I decided instead to not follow my artistic talents and enrolled in nursing school. I graduated as a nurse but held onto my love to paint, draw, or craft works that inspired me. When I met my husband and I moved to Florida in 2012, I continued to work as a nurse. In 2017, I started to make my own candles for personal use. In 2018, we moved to Western North Carolina. We were looking for a quiet place to live and raise our children, close to the mountains which incidentally reminded me of my hometown. We got all set up, working in the same place, kids in day care, and all looking to purchase a home. Then in 2020 I became pregnant with our 3rd child. My husband quit his job and stayed at home to take care of our children because day care was closed after covid. Owen was born the end of 2020. We talked about it and everything started taking off from there. In 2021, we started selling our own handcrafted candles. The income from selling those candles we used to help pay for our oldest son's schooling. I'm so blessed to have my husband helping every day and stay busy with our business. We are looking forward to showing new products in the future. We are hoping LLOCANDLES will be a Family Business to be continued on into our son's future. I hope my story can bless and help other families to encourage and start there own business too. Thanks, for all your support !! Regards, Patricia Williams
